JT is an academic, who like to read, go swimming, play tennis, and spend time travelling.  He is a kind-hearted person who is considerate to others and pays much attention to life issues.

JT met Teresa through a friend.  As JT was in the UK and Teresa was in Canada, they mainly stayed in touch using Internet messaging, and spent hours chatting on the Internet, sometimes until the early hours of the morning.  In November 2001, the couple was engaged.  In December 2001, the couple decided to get married, and the wedding occurred in the UK in January 2002.

YW immigrated to Ottawa, Canada more than twenty years ago. After university studies at Carleton University where she obtained her bachelor degree in Computer Mathematics, she could not wait to move down to Toronto to seek employment... Luckily enough, not long after that, she found a permanent position at a large publishing company first as a financial analyst and now as the Assistant Manager in the Retail Data Analysis department.

Unlike JT who is an academic, YW doesn't like to read unless it is necessary. But, she likes karaoke and spend time travelling.

YW is also a kind-hearted and considerate person. YW is well respected by her friends for always sacrificing herself for her time, efforts, energy and sometimes even health (during the Oct 2001 Pilgrimage to Rome, YW bought umbrellas on the street during heavy rain, not for herself, but, gave them to the group members who were seniors, and as a result, she ended up with a serious flu during the whole trip) for the well-being of others. JT and YW loveship bloomed to the fullest as JT touched YW heart with: "You always take good care of others, but, there is one person that you surely don't take good care of, and that person is you, Yi Wai, from now on, let me take good care of you............"
